We make it super fast and simple to set up QR Clue for each guest stay. It only takes a few minutes for you (the host), your cleaning crew, or property assistant to set up QR Clue in your BNB. Our system takes care of the rest. Setup Instructions are provided in a convenient, water-proof pouch via video (by scanning a QR code) AND a written document designed to withstand wear and tear. English and Spanish versions of the instructions are provided.

This kicks off your guest’s experience! Designed to sit on the kitchen counter, this display is customized to include your BNB’s address and invites guests to scan your first custom QR code. This code introduces guests to the experience, the rules, the story and their first puzzle/clue is given in an immersive video customized to include photos of your BNB. Lastly, there is an "I'm Stuck!" QR code on the back for guests seeking help to ensure hosts aren’t bothered with questions.

This is where all the fun and magic happens! Each QR code (lovingly referred to as QR Clues) spins an engaging part of the story, providing new information and rabbit holes to fall into, and a puzzle/clue for your guests to solve to lead them to the location of the next QR Clue. All QR codes are custom to your property and provide additional insight on your monthly data report.

Five items are provided and weaved into our storyline to bring the experience to life! Items will vary based on story but include hidden QR codes on/inside and are everyday household items. Think picture frames, decorative items & other household items that can be hidden in plain sight, or combination locks, padlocks with keys, lockable boxes, safes, tools, UV lights to expose hidden clues, coded boxes, cipher decoders, and more!

A data report is provided monthly and allows hosts to monitor how the QR Clue experience is performing and impacting their business. Analyze QR Clue insights in tandem with personal booking analytics to paint the whole picture on how your property is performing. Data takes time to collect, so your first performance report is sent on the 28th of your second month and then every month thereafter.

We all know how easy it can be for guests to walk off with things, so if a QR code or item turns up missing, fear not! Replacement codes and items are always available for purchase in the Member Shop. Upon purchasing replacement QR codes or items, the missing QR codes will be deactivated to prevent unauthorized use.
